On Thursday, 28 August 2025, the BeeLieve beekeeping meeting took place at PUM-o Velenje within the international project BeeLieve – European Centres of Vocational Excellence in Apiculture (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-PEX-COVE).

The event brought together numerous beekeepers, experts, and institutional representatives. In addition to project presentations and good practices, the focus was on preparing the Regional Plan (RP), which will set the course for the future development of apiculture.

Participants strongly supported the project’s activities and suggested concrete measures and actions to be included in the Regional Plan. The meeting concluded with informal networking and the exchange of experiences.

The BeeLieve project once again demonstrated that collaboration is key to the sustainable development of beekeeping and the strengthening of regional ecosystems.
